  • What is Sender Id in SMS ?

    Sender ID is a set of characters either they are alphabetic or numeric which represents the identity of a sender with operator information. Let's take an example, when you receive a regular SMS from a friend or family member, her/his name (as stored in your contacts) is displayed as a Sender. If you haven't save his/her number then you will see the Sender's mobile number. Similarly, when a business or company sends an SMS to its customers, a numeric or alphabetic set of characters represents the company or brand name with operator information is called Sender ID. This sender is provided to company or business for their needs of messaging to its customers.

  • What is Promotional Sender ID ?

    Promotional Sender ID is 6 digit numeric sender id which is decided by operator in India. Promotional Sender ID is used for promoting, marketing digitally. Usually, it is used to send exciting offers to the customers, promotional links to users, election campaign to the people.

  • What is Transactional Sender ID ?

    Transactional Sender ID is 6 alphabetic characters which is requested by the company or business from the operator for the approval of sender id. It represents the brand name, company name or any institution name. It is limited to 6 characters by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) neither more than 6 characters nor less than it.
